The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always making me feel at home. The location was perfect, situated conveniently between the train station and the entrance to the Harz national park. This made it easy for me to explore both the town and the beautiful natural surroundings. I really enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the great dinner options offered at the hotel. The variety of food and drinks available made for a satisfying dining experience.
One downside of my stay was the lack of amenities in the room. There was no fridge or kettle, which made it difficult to store or prepare my own drinks and snacks.

We didn't notice we had to check in before 18:00 and arrived at 22:00. The lady from the check-in was still waiting for us, and was still very friendly although she wasn't able to go home because of us!
Obviously, that you have to check in before 18:00. Also a but expensive for what you get.

I appreciated the location of the hotel, being close to the train station and the town center, which made getting around easy. the hotel provided a city pass that allowed for free or discounted travel. I also enjoyed the outdoor seating area and the option to eat dinner at the hotel's biergarten.
The rooms were not completely soundproof, and I could hear noise from the hallway and outside. the temperature in the rooms was not consistent, with some being too cold, and others having too much heat.
